(A) The City Council may from time to time adopt or amend resolutions to determine and set out its own rules and order of business. The rules may provide, among other subjects, for the conduct of hearings and investigations and procedures for the suspension and removal of city officers.
(B) The rules mentioned in division (A) of this section may provide for the appointment of standing and special committees of the City Council and the powers and duties of the committees.
