3-8-1: PERMIT REQUIRED:

No person in any zone in the city shall sell or advertise in any manner whatever a sale of new or used merchandise at a garage, yard, patio or similar sale without obtaining a special permit from the building inspector and complying with the rules and regulations for same. (1975 Code §5-3.01)
