1-5-2: SALARIES:
Each Council person shall receive the sum of three hundred dollars ($300.00) per month as salary. The Mayor shall receive an additional one hundred dollars ($100.00) per month.
The salaries provided in this section are exclusive of any amounts payable to members of the City Council as reimbursement of the actual and necessary expenses of office and are also exclusive of benefits including, but not limited to, retirement, health and welfare, Federal Social Security payments and such other benefits as the City may pay on their behalf, so long as said benefits are also available for other City employees.
The salaries authorized pursuant to this section shall be paid commencing January 1, 2007, and shall be paid only during a fiscal year in which funds are budgeted and appropriated for this purpose. (Ord. 2006-07, 9-19-2006)
