It shall be unlawful to construct any building for human occupancy and use without sewerage disposal facilities approved by the County Health Department. Wherever sewer mains are accessible (within 500 feet), buildings shall be connected to such mains. In every other case, individual sewerage disposal must meet the requirements set by the State Plumbing Inspector. The Grayson County Health Officer's review for proposed sewerage facilities or certificate approving completed sewerage facilities must accompany applications for zoning permits and certificates of compliance, respectively.
