§ 153.050 MEMBERS; TERM; VACANCIES.
   (A)   The Planning Commission (hereinafter referred to as "Commission") as constituted at the time of this chapter shall continue in its authority.
   (B)   (1)   There shall be seven (7) members approved by the City Council and appointed by the Mayor for four-year terms.
      (2)   Terms shall be staggered so that the terms of no more than two (2) members expire in a year.
   (C)   (1)   Vacancies on the Planning Commission shall be filled within sixty (60) days.
      (2)   If the vacancy is not filled within that time, the Commission shall fill the vacancy according to its bylaws.
   (D)   Planning Commission members must meet a minimum of one (1) of the following:
      (1)   Reside within the corporate limits of the city;
      (2)   Own and/or operate a business for profit within the corporate limits of the city and reside within the county;
      (3)   Own real estate within the corporate limits of the city and reside within the county.
   (E)   At least two-thirds () of the members of the Planning Commission shall reside within the corporate limits of the city.
   (F)   Officers of the Planning Commission shall consist of a chairman, vice-chairman and secretary-treasurer, only one (1) of whom can reside outside of the corporate limits of the city.
