§ 61.042 SPECIFICATIONS FOR CONNECTION TO PUBLIC SEWER.
   (A)   The connection of the building sewer into the public sewer shall conform to the procedures set forth in appropriate specifications of the A.S.T.M. and the W.P.C.F. Manual of Practice No. 9. All such connections shall be made gastight and watertight. There shall be no connection of the building sewer into the public sewer from the following locations:
      (1)   Basements below ground level;
      (2)   Building floors below ground level; or
      (3)   An elevation below the connection point to the city sewer system.
   (B)   Any deviation from prescribed procedures and materials must be approved by the Superintendent before installation.
   (C)   There shall be no liability whatsoever to the city, regardless of negligence on behalf of the city or its employees, if this section is not completely complied with by the user.
