The International Code Council has prepared data containing the average square foot construction costs which the City Building and Inspection Department will use in calculating building permit fees. The building permit fee is calculated by multiplying the appropriate cost per square foot by the total number of square feet in the structure, which is then multiplied by 0.01852.
