It is unlawful for any person to damage any public sewer, or any of the appurtenances thereto, or to cast any substance into any manhole or clean out, or to remove any manhole cover without permission from the wastewater superintendent. Such unlawful actions shall constitute a class B misdemeanor, subject to penalty as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code. (1984 Code § 13.04.040; amd. 2015 Code)
