8-2-8: SELF-CLOSING GATES ACROSS SIDEWALKS:
It is unlawful for any person to construct or maintain any gates, except self-closing in good repair, which open upon any of the sidewalks of this city so as to swing out over such sidewalks, or any part thereof. (1984 Code § 12.20.110)
