7-2-6: STREET LEGAL ALL-TERRAIN VEHICLES:
   A.   Permitted, Prohibited Streets: Street legal all-terrain vehicles are authorized to be used on all city streets, except Main Street, in accordance with this section and with state law as set forth in Utah Code Annotated section 41-22-10.5. Street legal all-terrain vehicles are not to be driven upon any federal or state highways, including, but not necessarily limited to, Interstate 15, Pioneer Crossing, State Street and 2100 North (west of State Street). Any other or future federal or state highways, limited access highways, or city streets which have more than one lane in the same direction are also excluded from this section.
   B.   Criteria: In order to be street legal, all-terrain vehicles must meet all of the criteria as set forth in Utah Code Annotated section 41-6a-1509. The definitions of all-terrain type I and II vehicles as set forth in Utah Code Annotated section 41-22-2 are incorporated herein.
   C.   License Required: All operators of street legal all-terrain vehicles must have in their possession a valid driver's license, with appropriate endorsements.
   D.   Traffic Rules Followed: All traffic rules and regulations shall be followed by any operator of a street legal all- terrain vehicle. (Ord. 22-2012, 7-10-2012)
