1-6-4: COMPENSATION SCHEDULE:
   A.   Compensation for the Mayor shall be set at fifty thousand dollars ($50,000.00) per year. Additionally, the Mayor and the Mayor's dependents shall be entitled to coverage under the city's medical, dental, and life insurance program to be paid by the city, or alternatively, at the Mayor's election, to have a sum equal to one-half of the monthly premium amount, contributed to a 401(k) retirement account.
   B.   Compensation for members of the City Council shall be set at one thousand two hundred seventeen dollars ninety three cents ($1,217.93) per month. Additionally, the members of the City Council and their dependents shall be entitled to coverage under the City's medical, dental, and life insurance program to be paid by the City, or alternatively, at the Council member's election, to have a sum equal to one-half (1/2) of the monthly premium amount, contributed to a 401(k) retirement account.
   C.   Compensation for the Mayor and members of the City Council shall be adjusted annually based upon the same compensation increase that is made available to all other employees of the City.
   D.   Elected officials shall be reimbursed for all City-related expenses, including travel, as described in the adopted City Employee Policy Manual. (Ord. 42-2018, 5-22-2018; amd. Ord. 30-2021, 7-27-2021)
