6-1-6: INTERFERING WITH APPARATUS; FALSE ALARMS:

It is unlawful for any person to break, destroy, or in any manner interfere with any electrical fire alarm box, fire alarm registry box, or any wire, pole or apparatus connected therewith, or to break or interfere in any manner with any apparatus for giving alarms of fire, or to send any false alarms from, through or over any such box apparatus, or to make any false alarms of fire any manner whatsoever. (1984 Code § 8.12.060)
