6-1-2: STREETS YIELDED TO FIRE DEPARTMENT; AUTHORITY TO USE WATER:
Whenever any alarm of fire is given, all persons occupying the public streets with vehicles of any description shall yield the right of way to the fire department, and the movable apparatus of the same, when responding to an alarm of fire. The fire chief, or other officer in charge, shall have the right to use water from any source for the purpose of extinguishing fires or for saving property in danger of being destroyed thereby.
