4-1-2: APPLICATION; ISSUANCE; RECORDKEEPING; DEPOSIT:
All applications for licenses shall be made in writing to the city, and the amount of the license fee shall be paid at the time of such application. All licenses shall be issued by the city and signed by the mayor and city recorder, and attested under the seal of the city. The city shall keep a record of the licenses issued, stating the name of the person to whom the license is issued, the kind of business licensed, together with the amount paid for such license. All license fees shall be deposited with the city treasurer. (1984 Code § 5.04.020; amd. 2015 Code)
