(A) It shall be the duty of each property owner and the occupant of each property within the town to provide proper drainage for the sidewalks adjacent to his or her property, and to keep the sod cut away from such sidewalks a distance of three inches, unless the walk is of such an elevation above the sod that proper drainage may be had at all times.

(B) It shall be the duty of each property owner and the occupant of each and every building and lot within the town to remove snow from sidewalks adjacent to his, her or their properties before 9:00 a.m. of each day, and at such other times as snow shall accumulate in sufficient quantity to make walking dangerous or difficult, and to keep such walks clear of ice.
