A member of any advisory board or commission established pursuant to the authority of Article VIII of the Charter who ceases to be a qualified elector, or who accepts and enters upon the performance of the duties of an incompatible office, or who is absent, without excuse by the other members of his or her advisory board or commission from three consecutive meetings, shall automatically vacate his or her office on the advisory board or commission.
