§ 1117.07 IMPROVEMENTS INSPECTION FEES.
   (A)   The City Engineer or inspectors designated by him or her shall inspect all work performed and materials used in constructing and installing the improvements to ascertain if they are in accordance with the approved plans and specifications. The subdivider or his or her contractor shall notify the City Engineer at least 24 hours in advance of any construction.
   (B)   To defray the cost to the city for reviewing improvement plans and inspecting construction, the following fees shall be assessed:
      (1)   For plan review and inspection, one and one-half percent (1½%) of the construction cost estimate shall be paid to the city as follows:
         (a)   One percent (1%) of the construction cost prior to City Engineer approval of the construction plans.
         (b)   The remaining one-half percent (½%) prior to final inspection of the site.
      (2)   The inspection fees provided in division (B)(1) of this section include all inspection services provided during standard operating hours of 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with the exception of official holidays for city employees. The cost for inspection services beyond the non-standard operating hours shall be billed quarterly at a rate of $50.00 per work hour.
