Emergency medical services shall be furnished by the Division of Fire as provided for in the administrative code. Such service is not intended to be a routine medical transport service but shall be used in the event of a life-threatening emergency; such as accidents involving serious physical injury, acute interference with breathing and other serious medical conditions.
