§ 121.04 CHIEFS OF POLICE AND FIRE.
   The Police Chief and Fire Chief shall each be in charge of his or her respective division and of the personnel thereof. Each shall be accountable to the Director of Safety. Each shall perform the following duties:
   (A)   Formulate and recommend to the Director of Safety for approval, policies, procedures, rules and regulations for the government and operation of their division and their personnel.
   (B)   Be responsible for the performance by his or her division of the duties assigned to it by the Charter, by law and by this administrative code.
   (C)   Have control of the assignment of all personnel within his or her division.
   (D)   Provide for the training and instruction of personnel within his or her division.
   (E)   Perform such other duties as the Director of Safety may prescribe.
