§ 907.05 PROTECTION OF PUBLIC TREES.
   No person shall make any excavation, place any fill, compact the soil, or construct any building, structure, street, sidewalk, driveway, pavement or public utility upon any public place within the vicinity of any public tree without first obtaining a permit for such work from the Director and conducting such work in accordance with the permit. As a condition of issuing the permit, the Director shall require that the work be done in accordance with generally accepted arboricultural methods as may be necessary to protect the vitality of such trees.
