(A) An employee who has resigned from city service and is subsequently re-employed will be credited with prior city service for the purpose of computing vacation, sick leave benefits, or other benefits, excluding longevity, that may be in effect.
(B) Any employee who resigns while disciplinary action is pending shall not be eligible for re-employment.
