The Department of Service shall have the custody, care, and maintenance of the public buildings, grounds, streets, sewers, municipal utilities, and cemeteries owned by the Village. The head of this department shall be known as the Director of Service. He shall perform such functions and duties with reference to the service departments as may be assigned by ordinance or by order of the Village Manager, in addition to those prescribed in the administrative code.
