(A) Under the provisions of § 3.06 of the City Charter, there is adopted by the city, for the purpose of prescribing minimum standards for the safety and welfare of the citizens of Lebanon, the 1987 edition of the BOCA National Fire Code including any subsequent amendments to the code which may be published.
(B) Copies of the code shall be kept on file by the city and shall be made available for distribution to the public at cost.
(C) From the effective date of this chapter the 1987 BOCA National Fire Code and subsequent editions of the BOCA National Fire Code shall be the fire code for the city until amended by ordinance.
