§ 1309.01 STORAGE OF MATERIAL.
Whenever any building or structure is about to be erected, constructed, altered or repaired, the Building Inspector, with the consent of the Director of Service, may permit the use of the roadway or of a street or alley if, in his or her opinion, such space is necessary for the storage of material. In no case shall the outside line of any material extend into a street or alley on the side adjacent to the building site more than one-fourth of the width between the curbs or alley lines, nor shall any material be stored beyond the lot lines extended. Where a temporary sidewalk is constructed as prescribed hereafter, no material shall be stored beyond the inner edge of such sidewalk. Where a fence is used to enclose a site, no material shall be stored outside of such fence.
