§ 1304.09  BUILDING PERMIT APPLICATIONS.
   (A)   Single-family, two-family, and three- family  residential dwellings: (new construction, additions, and renovations) — Total floor area is inclusive of living, garage and basement areas:
 
Building permit:
$50 plus $3 per $1,000 valuation
Electric permit:
$50 plus $1 per 100 sq. ft.
HVAC permit:
$50 plus $1 per 100 sq. ft.
Manufactured homes:
$300 plus $1.30 per 100 sq. ft.
Moving a house:
$50 plus $3 per $1,000 valuation

   (C)   Multi-family and nonresidential remodeling and alterations.  For remodeling and alterations, and accessory structures that require a permit, the following fee structure shall apply:
 
Buildings up to 10,000 sq. ft.:
$45 per 100 sq. ft.
Buildings 10,000 sq. ft. to 50,000 sq. ft.
$10 per additional 100 sq. ft. plus above
Buildings 50,000 sq. ft. to 100,000 sq. ft.
$3 per additional 100 sq. ft. plus above
Buildings over 100,000 sq. ft.
$2 per additional 100 sq. ft. plus above
 
   (D)   Wrecking - demolition fees. For all residential demolition permits a fee of $50 shall be applied.  For nonresidential demolition permits a fee of $200 shall be applied. In addition to this fee, a performance bond in the amount of 100% of the total cost of the project shall be submitted to the city.
   (E)   Deposit required.  For commercial building permits a deposit of $250 shall be required at the time the permit application is submitted to the city. For residential building permits a deposit of $100 shall be required. This deposit shall be applied to the final permit fees upon permit approval by the city. The deposit is non-refundable.
   (F)   Plan revisions review fee of $50 for residential buildings and $200 for nonresidential and multi-family buildings shall apply.
   (G)   An additional inspection fee of $50 for residential, and $200 for nonresidential buildings shall apply for each re-inspection that is required through fault of the permittee.
