(A) The following annual license fees shall be paid by the owner for the license required by § 113.01:
For the first taxicab or automobile for hire | $50 |
Each additional taxicab or automobile for hire | $25 |
(B) The license fees shall entitle the owner to a taxi stand for each cab not exceeding two in front of his or her place of business; provided however that upon the payment of the sum of $5.20 per month for one or more additional taxicabs or automobiles, the owner, with the consent of the Common Council, may be entitled to one space at the curb for each additional taxicab or automobile paid for; provided that additional spaces shall be designated by the Common Council. The license fee shall be in lieu of, and not in addition to any fees heretofore established, and except as above provided no fees or other charges shall be collected by the city; provided, however, that each additional taxicab or automobile for which no curb space has been paid shall pay the parking meter fees established by ordinance.
