It is a violation of this chapter for a person, firm or corporation to willfully and knowingly sign a compliance card attesting that a code violation has been corrected when the person, firm or corporation has actual knowledge that the code violation has not been corrected or has been disguised or covered without properly mitigating the hazard(s). All violations under this section shall be subject to the civil penalty provisions of § 94.999. Additionally, any person who knowingly violates this provision may be subject to criminal prosecution.
