This code shall not be construed to hold the public entity, any of its employees or any of its lawful agents responsible for any damage to persons or property by reason of the inspection or re-inspection, authorization herein provided or by reason of the approval or disapproval of any equipment or process authorized herein or for any action in connection with the control of extinguishment of any fire or in connection with any other official duties.
