§ 92.046  EXAMINATION; NOTICE OF RESULTS.
   (A)   Each applicant for the license required by § 92.045 shall, at the time of filing his or her application, agree to appear before an examining board pertaining to his or her respective business, composed as set out in this chapter, for examination of his or her qualifications and experience in business; provided, that, in the event the applicant is a firm or corporation, some member of the firm or officer of the corporation shall appear before the examining board. After an examination, which may be written, the applicant shall check with the Building Inspector’s office the next day for the results of the examination. Passing grade is 75%. The examining board will then send the passed test to the Common Council with the recommendation whether to grant or deny the license.
   (B)   In the event an applicant fails an examination, he or she must wait 30 days before again making a new application to take the examination. If he or she should fail the test again, he or she will need to wait six months to make a new application for the examination. The new application shall be accompanied by a new application fee.
