The Board of Public Works and Safety, as the traffic control authority of the city, is hereby authorized to take the following actions:
(A) Assign an officer to patrol the downtown traffic area and record notice of the violation of this subchapter. A notice of violation shall be attached to the vehicle in violation;
(B) Remove all parking meters within the downtown traffic area; and
(C) Give notice of the adopted parking regulations for the downtown parking area by appropriate signs and markings setting forth the parking restrictions set by this subchapter.
