(A) The city shall have the following statutory boards and commissions:
(1) There shall be a Police Pension Board of Trustees, to perform certain duties prescribed by I.C. 36-8-6 (1925 Fund) and I.C. 36-8-8 (1977 Fund) concerning the statutory pensions of city police;
(2) There shall be a Firefighters’ Pension Board of Trustees, to perform certain duties prescribed by I.C. 36-8-7 (1925 Fund) and I.C. 36-8-8 (1977 Fund) concerning the statutory pension of city firefighters;
(3) Park and Recreation Board;
(4) City Plan Commission and Board of Zoning Appeals;
(5) Economic Development Commission;
(6) There shall be a Utility Service Board as set out by I.C. 8-1.5-3;
(7) Redevelopment Commission; and
(8) Redevelopment Authority.
(B) The boards and commissions of the city now organized and operating shall continue in operation with the same members and terms of office.
