§ 96.17 INSPECTION AND ACCEPTANCE OF MATERIAL AND WORK.
   The material for all sidewalks built or repaired in the city shall be inspected and approved by the City Engineer before being used, and all sidewalks made new or repaired shall be done under the supervision of the City Engineer, who shall inspect and report on the same before approval and acceptance by the Common Council.
