§ 94.37 OFFENSE.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for any person, corporation, or entity to make or allow unreasonable noise from any source between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. For purposes of this chapter, unreasonable noise shall mean sound from any source that is of a volume, frequency, or pattern that prevents, disrupts, injures, or endangers the health, safety, welfare, prosperity, comfort or repose of reasonable persons of ordinary sensitivities within the City of Lawrenceburg, given the time of day or environment in which the sound is made.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person to play, use, or operate a device from a watercraft or boat (as defined by I.C. 6-6-11-1) that creates unreasonable noise.
   (C)   It shall be unlawful within the municipal limits of the city, for any device within or attached to any motor vehicle to be utilized in or at such a level so as to create unreasonable noise. It shall be unlawful to operate a horn or other audible signaling device on any motor vehicle except in an emergency or when required by law.
   (D)   It shall be unlawful to use and operate, or allow the use and operation between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. the following: lawn mowers, weed blowers, garden tractors, construction and repair equipment, go-carts, generators, power tools or any tool or equipment used in construction, drilling or demolition, or any other similar items or equipment that cause unreasonable noise.
   (E)   It shall be unlawful to participate in any party or gathering between the hours of 9:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. that gives rise to unreasonable noise that is audible from a residential zone or residential dwelling.
   (F)   It shall be unlawful to harbor or keep any animal that creates unreasonable noise.
   (G)   It shall be unlawful for any multi-axle motor vehicle or truck to use engine brake retarders upon any road within or adjacent to a Residential A or Residential B zone.
