(A) All industrial users proposing to connect to or discharge into a City sewer must complete an application for an industrial discharge permit before connecting to or discharging into a City sewer. All industrial users connected to or discharging into a City sewer, who do not currently have an industrial discharge permit, must complete an application for an industrial discharge permit within 90 days after the effective date of this Article 1. All significant industrial users (SIUs), including those users subject to federal categorical pretreatment standards, users not subject to federal standards but deemed significant by the Director, or which otherwise meet the criteria of a significant industrial user, shall obtain a permit from the Director before connecting to or discharging into a City sewer.
(B) No person shall knowingly make any false statement, representation or certification in any application, record, report, plan or other document filed or required to be maintained pursuant to this Article 1 or an industrial discharge permit. Nor shall any person falsify, tamper with or knowingly render inaccurate any monitoring device or method required under this chapter.
