(A) It shall be unlawful for any permittee under this chapter to purchase or receive any articles in the course of his or her business from any person who is intoxicated or who is known or suspected by the permittee to have acquired or to be disposing of the articles unlawfully.
(B) No secondhand dealer or pawnbroker shall purchase or receive any property whatsoever from any person under the age of 18 years without having first obtained the written consent of the parent or guardian of the minor to the sale.
(C) No secondhand dealer or pawnbroker shall purchase or accept as collateral security any property of the type given manufacturers’ serial numbers or other identifying insignia, unless the property shall have plainly visible thereon the manufacturer’s serial number or other identifying insignia.
