A. The following shall be installed in new single-family and multiple-family dwellings of 1,400 square feet or greater: A Hot water recirculation system shall be required, unless hot water can be delivered without displacing more than 0.6 gallons of water.
B. The following shall be installed in all new single-family and multiple-family dwellings:
1. Water Sense labeled fixtures, including, but not limited to irrigation controllers, faucets, showerheads, toilets, and urinals.
2. Energy Star qualified appliances.
C. All multiple-family units shall be separately metered, sub-metered, or equipped with alternative technology capable of tracking the water use of the individual unit; and the information related thereto shall be made available to the resident of each unit.
D. All multiple-family projects shall be equipped with separate water meters for all outdoor water usage, including landscaping. (Ord. 2022-08, 9-7-2022; amd. Ord. 2023-14, 12-6-2023)
