6-2-3: PLACEMENT OF SIGNS, CONTROLS AND MARKINGS:
The city engineer shall place all requisite traffic signs, controls and markings as he deems necessary to accomplish the purposes set forth in section 6-2-1 of this chapter after due consideration of the needs for control of traffic within the city. Without limitation, such devices shall include stop signs located at the following intersections: Fife Street and Second Avenue West at east, west and south corner; Booth Street and Fourth Avenue West at east and west corners. No person operating a vehicle shall violate the commands given, or fail to heed the warnings provided by such duly authorized signs and devices. (Ord. 1979-5, 6-20-1979; amd. Ord. 1987-8, 9-23-1987)
