(A) G.S. § 160A-190 states a town may, by ordinance, regulate, restrict or prohibit the sale, possession or use within the town of pellet guns or any other mechanism or device designed or used to project a missile by compressed air or mechanical action with less than deadly force.
(B) It shall be unlawful for any person to shoot or project any pellet, stone, rock, shot, BB, arrow or other hard substance within the town by means of a gun, slingshot, bean shooter, air rifle, pop gun, bow or other similar device.
