§ 33.12  POLICE OFFICER; DUTIES.
   (A)   It shall be the duty of the members of the Police Department to aid the Fire Department by giving alarms in case of fire, and in clearing the streets and grounds in the immediate vicinity of any fire, so that the firemen shall not be hindered or obstructed in the performance of their duties.

   (B)   Any member of the Police Department who shall neglect or refuse to perform any duty required of him or her, or who shall, in the discharge of his or her official duties, be guilty of fraud, favoritism, extortion, oppression, or wilful wrong or injustice, shall be subject to a fine and suspension or removal from office.
