§ 32.046  ANIMAL CONTROL ADVISORY COMMISSION.
   (A)   The county Animal Control Advisory Commission is created upon the following terms and conditions.
   (B)   The Commission shall be comprised of seven members as follows:
      (1)   One member or designee of the County Board of Commissioners;
      (2)   One member or designee of the County Council;
      (3)   The County Sheriff or his or her designee;
      (4)   The county Health Department Administrator or his or her designee;
      (5)   One county veterinarian, who has no pecuniary interests nor derives any income from the sale of small animals; and
      (6)   Two residents of the county.
   (C)   The Commission shall meet quarterly, or more frequently if deemed necessary.
   (D)   The Commission shall meet to discuss the operations of the county Animal Shelter and the enforcement of Chapter 94, Animals.
   (E)   The Commission shall review reports from the county Animal Shelter and other matters relative to small animal care and control in the county.
   (F)   The Commission shall maintain minutes of each meeting and submit a report of any findings or recommendations to the Board of Commissioners.  Any reports or findings shall be advisory in nature.
