§ 32.006  SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT.
   (A)   A county police force is established to promote public safety, conserve peace, repress and prevent crimes, and to carry out other public safety functions.
   (B)   The manual on medical and fire procedures followed by the County Sheriff’s Department is open to public inspection during regular business hours, with one copy being on file at the County Auditor’s office and one copy at the County Sheriff’s Department.
