§ 73.03  SNOWMOBILE OPERATION; RESTRICTIONS ON TIME AND PLACE.
   In addition to those restrictions on the time and place of operation of snowmobiles upon public highways imposed by state law, the following restrictions upon snowmobile operation are imposed by this chapter.
   (A)   The operation of snowmobiles is prohibited on all days during the year when school is in session, from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m. in the morning and from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the afternoon.
   (B)   The operation of snowmobiles on any county highway within 500 feet of a county school while that school is in session is prohibited.
   (C)   Use of county highways for traveling to and from specially scheduled snowmobiling events is not permitted without having requested and received prior permission from the County Board of Commissioners.  The Board of Commissioners will take action regarding these requests only after the same have been presented to the County Sheriff and a recommendation of the Sheriff has been forwarded to the Board.
   (D)   Use of snowmobiles on private property in the county is prohibited unless prior permission has been secured from the owner of that property.
