(A) The Board of Alderpersons, pursuant to the provisions of G.S. § 69-17, does hereby resolve to accept and endorse the provisions of G.S. Chapter 58, Article 80.

(B) The Treasurer of the State Firemen’s Fund is hereby authorized, empowered and directed to refund to the town any and all funds, assets or properties allocated to any member of the Town Volunteer Fire Department upon the termination of the member’s service with the Department regardless of the cause or reason for the termination other than by death of the member.
