§ 31.115  CUSTODY HEARINGS.
   Persons arrested by town police officers shall, without undue delay, be taken before a magistrate or court having jurisdiction of the alleged offenses, to be dealt with according to law; and, in no case, shall a prisoner be detained in custody longer than 12 hours from the time of his or her arrest, Sundays and legal holidays excepted, without having his or her case heard by the magistrate or court.
