Pursuant to N.C.G.S. 160A-101 and 160A-102, the Charter of the Town of Landis, as set forth in Section 1 of the Session Laws 1975, chapter 213, ratified May 5, 1975, is hereby further amended to provide that the Town of Landis shall operate under the alderman-manager form of government in accordance with Part 2 of Article 7 of N.C.G.S. Chapter 160A and any other provision not in conflict therewith.
The Town of Landis administrator shall cause a notice to be duly published stating that an ordinance amending the Charter to adopt the alderman-manager form of government has been adopted. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after March 8, 2010.
