§ 30.20  ORDINANCE PRESENTATION; NUMBERING; CONTENT.
   (A)   Manner of presentation. Every chapter or repealing any chapter and every new chapter shall be proposed in writing, signed by the Alderpersons presenting the same and approved as to form by the Town Attorney.

   (B)   Indication of chapter, subchapter or section of code to be amended or repealed. Every chapter introduced, if it proposes to amend or repeal any existing portion of the code, shall show by proper reference the chapter, subchapter and section proposed to be amended; or if it proposes to add to the existing code a new chapter, subchapter or section, it shall indicate, with reference to the arrangement of this code, the proper number of the chapter, subchapter or section. In addition to the indication thereof, as may be contained in the text of the proposed chapter, the same shall be shown in concise form above the chapter.

   (C)   Numbering of ordinances. All ordinances of the town shall be consecutively numbered in annual series, the number of a particular ordinance to consist of the year in which passed and the consecutive number of the ordinance.
