(A) This chapter shall be known as the “Storm Water Quality Management and Discharge Control Ordinance” of the town and may be so cited.
(B) Under G.S. Chapter 160A, the town has the responsibility and authority to regulate land use and development, enforce ordinances within its jurisdiction, and to adopt regulations designed to promote the public health, safety and general welfare of its citizenry.
