§ 30.02  OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES.
   (A)   Generally. The Board of Alderpersons shall appoint the Town Administrator/Town Clerk, the Town Tax Collector, the Town Attorney and other town officers and employees.

   (B)   Term and removal of officers appointed by Board. All employees appointed by the Board of Alderpersons hold their offices at the pleasure of the Board and may be removed at any time by the Board.

   (C)   Filling vacancies in appointive office. In regard to positions which are filled by appointment by the Board of Alderpersons, the Board of Alderpersons shall fill vacancies caused by death, resignation or otherwise, which may occur during its term of office, at its next regular meeting or as soon thereafter as practicable.

   (D)   Further duties, and the like, of officers. The Board of Alderpersons has the power to require further and other duties of all officers whose duties are described in this code and other ordinances of the town and to define and prescribe powers and duties of all officers elected to any office provided for by the Charter of the town whose duties are not therein especially mentioned and to fix their compensation when not therein fixed.
