§ 94.53  VIOLATION.
An activation of the alarm system that elicits a response by the Police Department, Fire Department and/or medical personnel, when no situation requiring the response exists shall be considered a false alarm. This includes accidental, avoidable and unnecessary alarm activation due to user error, equipment malfunction, improper or unsuited equipment, but does not include alarm activation caused by violent conditions of nature or other extraordinary circumstances not reasonably subject to the control of the alarm user or alarm system. Alarm activation during alarm testing procedure shall not be counted if the alarm first notifies the town police or the Alarm Administrator.
