Curb openings made to provide entrances or exits to industrial plants may be 50 feet in width, with not more than one such entrance to the same property; except that, the Director of Public Works may approve, without concurrence of the Board of Alderpersons, a second entrance, when he or she deems is in the public interest to facilitate ingress and egress to the property. When two or more of the industrial driveways are constructed, there shall be a minimum of 50 feet between the entrances, as measured at the curb line.
